This guide is designed to get you from zero to confident in 10 minutes. By the end, you will have browsed the universe, analysed a ticker, understood its score, checked its risks, and added it to your portfolio.
Step by Step
Browse the Universe
Navigate to the Universe page. You will see a table of all tickers in the GrowthPicks universe. The table is sortable and filterable. Start by sorting by Score (highest first). The tickers at the top are the ones the model has the most conviction in. Notice the Value Signal column. Scan the first 20 rows. Familiar names give you a reference point. Unfamiliar names are opportunities to discover something new.
Pick a Ticker
Click on any ticker that interests you. This takes you to the Detail page – a full deep-dive into everything the model knows about that company.
Read the Scores
On the Detail page, find the Score Breakdown section. You will see the GrowthPicks Score broken down into Growth Score, Quality Score, and Value Modifier. Ask yourself: does the breakdown make sense? A company with a high Growth Score but a low Quality Score is growing fast but may have weak economics. The score breakdown is where the model's thinking becomes transparent.
Check the Risk Flags
Still on the Detail page, look at the Risk section. Is Cashflow Risk flagged? Are there any other risk flags active? Read the Summary and Key Risks narrative. Risk flags are not disqualifications – they are prompts for you to think.
Add to Your Portfolio
Navigate to the Portfolio page (you will need to log in or create an account). Use the form to add the ticker, entering an approximate weight percentage. Watch the Health Dashboard populate.
